The wait is finally over!
On Saturday, March 9th the Red-and-White return to USL Championship play to start the 2024 season. Loudoun United will travel to take on San Antonio FC. Kickoff is slated for 8:30 p.m. ET.
Last year, it was LUFC that had their Home Opener against San Antonio, which ended in a 1-1 draw. Zach Ryan scored the first of his club-leading 11 USL Championship goals in the 35th minute before Ignacio Bailone drew the visitors level in the 55th minute
Loudoun United started the 2023 season with a 3-1 road win over Memphis in the season opener at AutoZone Park.
The new season welcomes a handful of new faces on the field, building off a strong foundation of returners. Those that are unable to make the trip can watch the match on ESPN+.

Loudoun United enter the 2024 season with nine new players. For a quick rundown of the roster, click here. Returning Red-and-White players include Zach Ryan, Kalil ElMedkhar, Yanis Leerman and Wesley Leggett.
Loudoun is set to debut their new away kits on the road against San Antonio. Betfred will be the back-of-jersey sponsor for the Red-and-White home and away kits while Coras takes its place as the front-of-jersey sponsor.
Loudoun United has been anything but quiet this offseason announcing plenty of changes for 2024. Loudoun named a slew of additions to the technical staff this week, read more here. On-site parking fees have been eliminated for home matches at Segra Field. Also new for 2024 is a partnership with DC News Now allowing LUFC home matches to be broadcast on linear TV for the first time in the club’s history.
