LOUDOUN, Va.- Two weeks after it was announced that Loudoun United FC will join the United Soccer League for the 2019 season [Link], the Loudoun County community is welcoming their brand new professional soccer team with open arms!
With 100 Founding Members already committed to supporting the team, the fervor continues to spread in anticipation of the club’s inaugural campaign.
One of the benefits of pledging allegiance from the outset, founding members are getting an experience unlike any other with COO Adam Behnke getting to know LUFC’s supporters personally – and they have had no shortage of things to say about their new favorite soccer team. The excitement transcends the club’s presence between the lines as founding members are expressing how the children in the community will benefit from having new professional athlete role models in their own backyard.
“It is great motivation to keep training and be a part of the experience,” stated Jacob, one of the youngest founding members, when asked about the impact of the club’s arrival in Loudoun County.
