Loudoun, VA- Loudoun United joins forces with D.C. United to help raise funds and awareness for pediatric cancer. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Loudoun United wants to do its part to help the cause.
Loudoun United has already shown large efforts with their support of Childhood Cancer by being involved with HOPE FASTER, an all-volunteer sports and fitness focused pediatric cancer fundraising and awareness platform. The team plans on presenting scarves to the participants of HOPE FASTER next week to show their support and appreciation for the cause.
Teaming up with D.C. United, Loudoun United will be visiting the Children’s National Hospital to visit patients in the oncology unit as well as participate in other activities. With this cause being a priority for Loudoun United, they are also donating 20% of their revenue this month from the Team Shop to the Childhood Cancer Foundation.
