Ethiopian Football Federation USA Tour Comes to Leesburg, Virginia
LEESBURG, VA (June 29, 2023) – The Men’s National Teams of Ethiopia and Guyana will play in the Ethiopian Football Federation USA Tour on Wednesday, August 2 at Segra Field in Leesburg, Virginia. Kickoff is slated for 7:00 p.m. EST.
“We are excited to host Ethiopia and Guyana to Segra Field; marking the venue’s first-ever international match,” said Doug Raftery, Executive Business Officer of Segra Field and Loudoun United FC. “The match will continue to establish our stadium as an international venue for all entertainment and sports.”
This match marks the first time Ethiopia will play an international friendly in the United States. It will also be Guyana’s first match against an African team since the federation was founded 121 years ago.
