
Historic Match between Ethiopia and Guyana Set to Take Place at Segra Field
The Capitol Petroleum Group and Joe Mamo, as title presenters, are proud to announce the Ethiopian Football Federation’s first-ever game on U.S. soil. Kickoff is slated for 7:00 PM EST on Wednesday, August 2 at Segra Field in Leesburg, Virginia.
Tickets for tonight’s match are available for purchase here. Gates will open to the general public at 6:00 PM EST. Parking will be free of charge for fans. In addition, the west side of the stadium will feature food trucks and merchandise for purchase.
The 1962 Africa Cup of Nations Champions, Ethiopia Football Federation, has a rich heritage in the sport and looks to captivate fans from various backgrounds through the historic game on Wednesday.
Lead by Head Coach Jamaal Shabazz, Guyana will face an African team for the first time since the federation was founded 121 years ago. The Golden Jaguars look to use this match as a warm-up for the CONCACAF Nations League, which kicks off in September.
