Leesburg, VA – In support of Pride Month, Loudoun United FC will be highlighting LGBTQ+ organizations based in the DMV. The Red-and-White embraces equality and acceptance and during June, the club will continue to honor LGBTQ+ organizations that have helped contribute to the community, city, and country.
The Casa BruMar Foundation provides support for the LBGTQ+ community in Virginia with needed resources and aims to bridge equality gaps that are currently present in the community. Casa BruMar is currently working to provide a physical meeting location, along with community focused social services, to at-risk and disadvantaged individuals.
“The support of all DMV sports teams, including Loudoun United FC, during Pride Month is incredibly meaningful for our organization,” said Heidi S. BruMar, Casa BruMar Foundation secretary. “It represents a significant step towards inclusivity and celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community within the DMV. We’re particularly heartened by Loudoun United FC’s involvement. As a fellow DMV organization, their participation demonstrates a commitment to building a culture of inclusion at all levels of sports.” To learn more about Casa BruMar, visit: https://casabrumarfoundation.org/
